

Bob retired from Pontiac Motors, Pontiac MI, at the age of 47 and proudly served his country for 29 years in the United States Army. He served during Gulf War (earning a bronze star), peace keeping mission in Macedonia, and in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Crossville TN and New Bern NC, He was active with the hispanic community in Crossville TN.
He is survived by his wife Betty A. Calabrese married 49 years of (wedding bliss); sons Robert M Calabrese Jr & wife Sharon of TN, Deacon Wally Calabrese & wife Amy of Havelock, and Gregory A. Calabrese & wife Debbie of TN; brothers, Daniel and James; sister, Donna; 7 grandchildren Lori and husband Thomas, Leeza, Alex, Jacob, Jessica, Joseph. 5 step-grandchildren Jessica, John, Ashian, Madison, Sarah and 1 great-grandchild Gabriella, and preceded in death by Grandaughter Elizabeth.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 18, 2015 at St. Paul's Catholic Church. The Calabrese family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday, April 17, 2015 with a vigil following at 7:00 pm at St. Paul's and also from 10-11 am Saturday prior to the funeral mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
