Seth “Doot” Sutton, resident of Trent Woods, peacefully passed away at home at the age of 90. He was born in Beaufort Co., NC. He was the son of Robert Sutton and Emily Wilson, and a member of the Broad Street Christian Church in New Bern. Seth was an avid amateur golfer. He was a loving husband and father.
Seth is survived by his wife Peggy and daughter Rhonda. He was preceded in death by both his parents, his brother Robert Sutton, and his sisters Millie Lassiter and Grace Eddings, and nieces and nephews he cherished dearly.
A visitation for Seth will be held Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cotten Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Broad Street Christian Church, New Bern or a charity of your choice.
