Sharon E. Stahl

Sharon was a loving and supportive wife of a career Navy man. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Michael Wayne Stahl (Keisha) of New Bern; daughters, Sharon Lynn Stahl of New Bern, Lisa Gail Stahl of Winchester, VA and Vesta Juanita Surles (Patrick) of Raleigh; brother, Walter Edward Evans, Jr (Katherine) of Elizabeth City, NC; sister-in-law Ruth Stahl of Minnesota; grandchildren Heather Marie Moquin (Aaron), Kristina Faye Thompson (Rebecca), Adrienne Stahl Turner (Taylor), Kayla Joy Surles, Emma Joelle Surles, and Keenan Johanna Surles; and eight great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 55 years, Jim Stahl, and brother, Spencer Evans.

A graveside service will be held 10:00am Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. Following the service, Sharon will be laid to rest with her husband, Jim.
