I just heard this sad news. I have fond memories of Stuart and the Glazer home on Staten Island. I am so sorry for your loss!

Dede-- You may not remember me but I remember both you and Stu from Camp. Kids that we were, I didn't really know Stu, but I can see his face as clear as day. I'm remembering freckles! Was that you or Stu or both of you? I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences.

Stu called me at the high school to tell me that he wanted to elevate my son, Judson, to a higher level in history.  He felt this was important to Jud's self-esteem.  He was correct in this assumption.  I will never forget this kindness nor has my son.

Dear Dede,  I was very sorry to read of Stuie's passing.  I have very early and positive recollections of him from Chicopee. I can see him clearly at Lake Wallenpaupack, on the camp ballfields, and at your Staten Island home at the post camp parties you both would host.  He had a positive effect on many. My best wishes to you for comfort during this time.

Sorry for your loss., I was Stuart's student at Todd junior high in 72/73 . I always remembered him as my favorite  ., I remember the first day in his class and said to my self this teacher is in great shape / military style haircut and knew how to teach history . He touched my life as a young teenager and I know all his other students feel the same as well. I am sure he will be missed . He served his country he served children He will have a special place above
