Sue Paul Cox, 82, of New Bern, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Friday, March 10, 2017. For many years she worked at the Berne Restaurant and Friday's 1890. Above all, she loved her friends and family.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 13th at Greenleaf Memorial Park Lakeside Chapel with Pastor Bill Wingard officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
She is survived by her children, David E. Banks, Bryan P. Banks, James R. Banks, Sheryl B. Finch (Don), Virginia B. Townsend (Billy), Steven T. Cox, and Christopher F. Cox (Sarah); nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Paul and Minnie Rae Hodges, and a son, John William Banks.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
