Teresa Ann Daniels

Teresa Ann Daniels, 63, of New Bern passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022. Teresa was born on September 13, 1958 in Lane County, Oregon to the late Alvin Shields and Mary Mills Shields. Teresa and her siblings were raised by Francis Carter in Garner, North Carolina. Teresa was a creative soul with amazing artistic talent. She worked with stained glass and has pieces displayed in South Carolina and a church cross in North Carolina. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. She also was fond of animals and loved dogs. Many memories were made on the road with Richard when they traveled in the RV. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Richard Daniels, two daughters; Tabitha Daniels and her husband, Darel and Tammy Yates and her husband, George, stepdaughter, Christina Edwards and her husband, Rob, stepson, John Daniels, seven grandchildren, brother, Alvin Shields and his wife, Rhonda, and sister, Kay. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Cotten Funeral Home.
