Tom was dedicated family man and loved to help others.He was a New York State Corrections officer for 27 years. He loved his wife Geri and daughter Jamie very much. He was a devoted animal lover and dog parent to Roxie. He was loved by all who knew him. Before moving to New Bern, NC he was a resident of Gardiner, NY for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Geri Sherlock; daughter, Jamie Sherlock (Ross) of California; grandchildren, June, Nora and Lili; his dog, Roxie and many beloved cousins and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am Friday, June 9, 2023 at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday at Cotten Funeral Home.
