My love,  This heart that belongs to you still has a huge hole in it and I know the pain will never cease.  I love you so very much and everyday I wait to hear your footsteps coming to me and holding me close. I search for your smile and that twinkle in your eyes everyday.  Looking to God to take me to heaven to see HIS face and the love in your eyes.  Please my love wait as Jesus holds you, as I feel my time to be with you both will not be long......God knows how much I miss you!

My sweetheart, missing you eve ry  moment, everyday.  I  call you on your cell phone   just to hear your voice. Now  you are in GOD'S 
 care  with His eternal love.  I  am at peace knowing you loved Jesus  and He loved you.. We had beautiful years together and I am so grateful  to GOD for giving us His blessings. You were  a loving, caring husband and you forever live in my heart. I love you and know we will be together again.  



My sweetheart, the joy of my life is now with our KING , In this heart aching time for us here on earth there is still comfort knowing you are happy in the presence  of our LORD. Love, you were  so strong when I was weak, always an anchor when I needed you, with that beautiful  smile assuring  me everything will be fine, and it was. I always felt  your love and devotion for  me never waivered .You loved so much,  as that heart of yours was so big and full of caring. 
 We did make some travel plans for our future, but GOD had different plans and took you home. HE blessed us with 26 years of love,  caring family members, beautiful  friends and I am so thankful for everything HE provided. At the rehab center"  you would read to me every day " Jesus Calling", We ate in the beautiful room looking at the river which was cathartic.  Held hands and even made talked about cookouts with our friends in that wonderful outdoor kitchen you just built.  I love and miss you beyond what words could ever say. Love, you will live in my heart forever. I know you are happy and smiling in GODS presence.  I love you and look to that wondrous  day when JESUS  calls me home and I see you! Thank you Jesus for loving us so very much as we are Your children.  Everyone here loves and misses you Vinny. Help them  Jesus in their  sorrow and heal their heartaches. The love of my life is the son of this great man .   It’s been my privilege an honor to get to know Todd’s father …Vinny to most of you .  The things I will remember….watching them work together….either on the boat (there were a few of those “projects “)   On the many jobs that Dad took or just puttering around the house when we would come visit .  This man always had something in the hopper to be working on .  I will always remember his kind ,sweet and generous heart .  His strong devotion to his faith . I will always remember his sense of humor ….in particular the four of us staying up way  to late playing Rummikub  and just belly laughing .  I will cherish the words said at our last visit .  Most of all I will relish the moments I get to spend with his son that he raised into a man with an endless well of love,  kindness and all the things he instilled in him as the amazing Father he was . 

 My Dad was a great father and a mentor. He taught me many things growing up and we had lots of fun throughout my childhood and working together as an adult. He was my hero as a kid. So smart, he could do anything  , but you don’t realize how good of a man he was till you get older and see how  he interacts with others. I hope I was able to learn that from him as well as his building prowess.
 I will miss him everyday. You will always be my hero

Vinal never said no to helping someone that needed a helping hand with a project or a broken pipe.  He was so loving and kind and even when he worked he never lost his cool.  He did a remodeling job for us in our kitchen several years ago.  There were several problems with the cabinet salesman and Vinal handled him with such patience and got to the point to make it all come together with perfection.  He built a house for he and Nina that was gorgeous in Farmington, CT and she decorated it with such style.   Vinal and Nina were so in love for the 20 years I have known them,  Richard has know them much longer, they were always together and never had a harsh word to say to or about each other.  We were very sad to see them leave Connecticut but they took our love with them when they moved to North Carolina.  We miss them dearly but we know they had found love in their new community to cure their homesickness.  Vinal just loved to help others, that is just who he is.  We love and miss you. We will miss Vinny's smiling face. Never knowing if he was serious or just joking . 
He was a friend you could always count on whatever you might needed.
What a good dancer he was! It was fun watching him dancing and sometimes even throwing his partner over his shoulder.
We also remember our wonderful vacation with him and Nina in Germany. 
We miss him already but knowing he is in a better place gives us peace,

Peterson’s for ice cream, the beach, and the park with Vinny and Mema. At Hilton Head we relaxed by the beach, played tennis (his favorite) and we all got beat by him in rumikub a few times. Vinny was always generous, kind, funny and loving to his family. We will miss you so much. Rest In Peace.

Our time with Grandpa Vinny and Mema has always been special.  Our last Thanksgiving together we traveled to NC and had a memorable time visiting the marina and his boat, shopping downtown, making too many Thanksgiving sides and a perfect turkey, chasing the kids on the playground, making cookies, and going for an early Christmas sleigh ride.  Grandpa Vinny will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.  

We will miss you Vinny.  We sure had a lot of fun together.  The many sailing trips, the poker games, the picnics and the dancing to name a few.  We hope you have started your next building project and sailing through Heaven.  Nina we are so sorry for your loss.  All of our love.

For our brother and sister in Christ; Vinny and Nina, the first friends we met in Fairfield Harbour in 2006. 
Vinny will be sorely missed by all who knew him.  Vinny was the person you always wanted to be with: smiling, laughing, cajoling with tales of all he had experienced in life.  We will especially miss all the times spent together with Vinny and Nina in our travels and in our gathering together with friends.  We know Vinny is Home now, where we will see him again!
"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ".

Vinny was the kindest and most thoughtful individual we ever met. He was so giving to Linda and I at a stressful time during Hurricane Florence. I looked forward to our weekly breakfasts where Vinny shared his stories and listened to mine, he was a great listener.  I will cherish those times and memories for the rest of my life. On the day he was released from the hospital, he expressed concerns for Nina rather than himself, always putting others first.  We are thankful to have known him and to call him our friend.  Vinny will always hold a special place in our hearts.

A wonderful friend and a true gentleman. He will ne missed by many.  Vinny had given me permission to use his name in my next novel.  It is half done and I wish he lived to read it. I will give a copiy to any family members who would like one.  Our deepest sympathies to Nina, family an friends. 

I worked with Vinny and Nina at the Board of Elections in New Bern. I never saw Vinny without a smile and a funny story. 
I’m sincerely sorry for your loss and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Vinny was like a father to me. I will miss our Sunday get togethers and good talks. Thank you Vinny for being a good friend in Christ. I will miss working with you! Thank you for all the support and believing in me!

We all will miss Vinny's warm smile and sense of humor.  He enjoyed tennis, boating, travelling and was a fabulous dance partner.  Vinny enjoyed a good political conversation and was a devout Christian.

Always helpful to his neighbors, he will be missed by his family the most, and anyone who knew him, or crossed his path.

May he rest in peace and walk happily with his new neighbors in the heaven's above.
