He served our country in the U.S. Army and the Air Force during WWII and Korea. He was a member of the Gold Prospectors of America and the NRA. His interest included treasure hunting, fishing, hunting and collecting coins.
Mr. Collier is survived by his wife, Marie Lee Collier, one son, Ian B. Collier, one daughter, Sheron Collier Wheeler, and one granddaughter, Lindsay Collier.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Cotten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
