Anastacia Teneyuque

Anastacia M. Teneyuque, claimed her seat next to our heavenly father on February 21, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born on April 27, 1933 to Jose T. and Antonia Mendoza in Redwood Texas. She married Jessie R. Teneyuque on April 23, 1953 and lived a beautiful life as a military wife. She traveled the world and was able to see and experienced many beautiful sights and sounds in life. She was blessed with being a mother to four children, Yolanda Acosta (Cruz), Sylvia Gonzalez (Mike), Robert Teneyuque (Sandra), and Irene Gaylord (Arthur). She lived life to the fullest with a caring heart and danced her way into everyone’s heart and soul.

She is survived by her siblings Fred Mendoza, Domingo Mendoza, Lupita Luna, Marcelino Mendoza, Tina Villa, Mary Ann Gaitan, and Joe Mendoza Jr., her children, nine grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren.

She joins her family in heaven, sisters Paula Aguilar and Elidia “Lily” Calderon; her brothers Reymundo Mendoza, Frank Mendoza, and Juan Mendoza; and her parents Jose and Antonia Mendoza.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband Jessie R. Teneyuque, and they will finally be reunited in heaven.

Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Monday at Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with interment to follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.
