Antonia R. Medina

Antonia R. Medina went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the age of 95. She was born in Austin, Texas on January 17, 1921 to Manuel and Maria Dolores Rios. Antonia was a lifetime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in New Braunfels. She was also proud member of the Guadalupanas, Cursillisitas, and Padres de Familia. Antonia enjoyed gardening, bingo and loved making her family laugh. She will always be remembered for her strong faith, her laughter, but most of all her love for the family.

Antonia was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Maria Rios; husband, Felix Medina Sr.; son, Jose Torres; daughters, Felicitas Martinez and Timothea Torres; sisters, Francisca, Elvira, Maria, and Altagracia; and brothers, Olegario, Manuel, and Gerardo.

She was survived by her brothers, Isidro Rios and Daniel Rios; children, Reynaldo Rios, Felix Medina Jr., Modesta Gomez, Joe Medina, Rogelio Medina, Minerva Tienda, Domingo Medina Sr., Alicia Vela, Victor Medina, Donna Medina Arellano, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will include John Paul Medina, Jose Miguel Robledo Jr., Adrian Medina, Joel Tienda, Joe Michael Medina, and Domingo Medina Jr.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Zoeller Funeral Home from 5-9pm; with the Rosary beginning at 7:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
