Carol Jean Forsyth

Carol was born in Elcho, Wisconsin to Herbert and Clara Reed and was the sixth of seven children. She met and married Jim Forsyth in San Antonio, Texas and the two were married for 42 years. Carol spent a career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company before retiring to work alongside Jim providing payroll software and training to doctor’s offices around South Texas.

Carol enjoyed sewing and creating outfits for her grandchildren as well as holding part-time jobs in which she applied her seamstress skills. Working outside in her yard and exercising were activities that she enjoyed daily. She loved our Lord and the Light of Christ showed brightly to everyone she met. She made friends everywhere she went and was so thankful for all of them.

Carol is survived by her sons Richard Olson, Michael Olson, Phillip Olson (Susan Anderson), David Olson (Kelly), Quincy Olson (Edna), Jeff Forsyth (Tanya), and Steve Forsyth (Kris) as well as her blessings of fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers - Edward, Richard, and Donald and three sisters - Doris, Janet, and Joyce.
