Born March 5, 1929
Diane Bishop was the loving wife of John Bishop for 66 years. She was a very devoted and loving mother to her two children, Donna Ann Jackson and John Wesley Bishop.
She is survived by her husband, John Bishop, daughter Donna Ann Jackson, son in law Lee Jackson, son John Wesley Bishop, three grandchildren, Christopher Jackson, Presley Jackson, and Elisha Bishop. She loved her family, including numerous cousins of which she was very close to.
She had a lot of interests. Diane loved to travel and saw many places in the world with her husband. Some of her hobbies were; oil painting, cooking, sewing, and playing the organ.
She had a very outgoing personality, loved socializing with her many cousins. She had a big heart and was a very giving person. She never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed. She also enjoyed spending time at their coastal residence on Port Aransas Island.
A memorial service will be held for Diane on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Zoeller Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas.
