

Clayton Dale Renner, 82, of New Braunfels, passed away on, Saturday, June 25, 2016 at his home. He was born to George Renner and Grace (Kugler) Renner on July 20, 1933 in Stone Creek, Ohio. Clayton served in the US Air Force as a SSgt. in the Korean War and worked for many years in civil service as Chief Facilities Manager at the Air Force Bases in San Antonio. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and also played and coached softball.
He is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Weidner and husband Dennis of New Braunfels; daughter-in-law, Nancy Renner of New Braunfels; grandchildren, Robert Renner, Tiffany Davis and husband Preston and Krystle Weidner; great grandchildren, Alexis Renner, Malia Renner, Tate Davis, Braedon Davis, and Presley Davis; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Wanda Renner; son, Steve Renner; brother, John Renner; and sister, Jean Reidenbach.
Public Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Tuesday at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at First Protestant Church with Reverend Daryl Higgins officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to: First Protestant Church of New Braunfels, or MD Anderson Cancer Research Center.
