Craig Alan Kublank

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Karen, and their children: Mark (wife Julie Kublank), Sandy (husband Steve Chapman), and Lauri (husband Ron Derrick). He is also survived by his grandchildren: John Kublank, David (wife Ashley Kublank), Brian (wife Savannah Kublank), Garrett (wife Candice Haas), Savanaha (husband Justin Nichols), Tristan Chapman, Kylie Ramsouer, Courtney Herrera, Colby Parsons, Casey (wife Alyssa Parsons), Andrew Derrick, Destiny Jones, Sarah Derrick, and Reagan Derrick. Additionally, he is survived by 18 great-grandchildren, his sister Penny Turnquist, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark W & Margaret Kublank.

In 1971, Craig and his family moved from Illinois to Texas and fell in love with the hill country and its people.

Craig was known for his kindness and wonderful sense of humor. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed traveling and gardening, and was known for his quick wit and "Dad Jokes." He always said, "I love to laugh, and I love to make people laugh." His humor brought joy and laughter to many. God and family were of the utmost importance in his life. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church since 1971, where he served multiple terms on the council, and as the Budget committee chair, Sunday school Teacher, Living Christmas participant, member of the Pastoral selection committee, and served on the fellowship committee. He worked at HEB for 24 years as a produce manager and pacesetter over numerous stores.

A public visitation for Craig will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 29797 US Hwy 281, Bulverde, TX 78163, on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024, at 2 p.m., with burial at St. Paul Cemetery, 850 Obst Rd. A reception following the burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
