Cynthia "Cindy" A. Hernandez Luna

She was born in New Braunfels, TX on October 31, 1957. She loved caring for her children and dedicated her life to helping guide them academically as well as making sure they actively participated in a multitude of sports. Cindy also dedicated many years to caring for the community’s children at both Cross Lutheran and First Protestant Schools where she touched and influenced many lives over the years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, David B. Luna; children David (Davy) H. Luna, Krystal L. Luna, Michael D. Luna and Joseph (Joey) A. Luna; parents Jose L. Hernandez and Florinda H. Hernandez and brothers Hector J. Hernandez and wife Hope and Joe Hernandez and wife Jennifer as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Friday and continue until 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the Zoeller chapel. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at the Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
