Danelle E. Schultz

Danelle E. Russell Schultz, age 71 passed away from this life into the gates of heaven on Sunday, October 10, 2010. Waiting for her, with joy, was the love of her life George A. Schultz. Danelle was born September 24, 1939 in Edinburg, Texas, to Dan and Evelyn Russell. She married George A. Schultz and moved to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University. She earned the distinction of being the first woman to graduate with a degree in Economics from Texas Tech. She was a wonderful mother to her boys, George Russell “Russ” Schultz and Richard “Rick” Benton Schultz. She was a truly amazing Oma to all four of her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Russell of New Braunfels, TX, Russ and April Schultz and their two girls, Morgan and Cassidy of Dallas, TX, Rick and Mandy Schultz and their children, Ben and Lauren of Florence, TX; sister, Joyce Russell Smith of Missouri and brother, Andy Russell of Georgetown. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, George A. Schultz and father, Dan Russell of New Braunfels. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St. New Braunfels, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Hospice, 611 N. Walnut Ave. New Braunfels, Texas 78130.
