Edward Young Wallace

Edward Young Wallace aka “Bucky”, beloved father and brother passed away February 13, 2023. Edward Wallace was born to Beatrice Irene Smith in Palmer, AK. During his young adult years he worked for Spartan Roofing in Wasilla, AK. In 2006, he was married to Candice Summer Wallace and remained friends until his passing. In 2007, he joined the USAF and began a career in Security Forces. 3 years into his career he cross-trained in as a K-9 Handler where he met the love of his life and best-friend MWD Troy N524; he was a Handler until 2015.

After his career in the military he began working the Department of Air Force Police in Alaska and Texas until year 2021. He loved his military and civilian friends very much and Bucky’s most treasured memories was being with his family, friends, playing with his dogs, and relaxing at home while playing video games.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Irene Smith; brother, Scott Gardner; Grandmother, Beatrice Irene Smith and Gloria Gardner; Fur babies, MWD Troy N524 and Daisy Rainbow Dash Wallace. He is survived by his Son, William Phoenix Wallace; Daughter Cassidy Belle Wallace; Brother Lance Gardner(Sierra) his three nieces, Colin Gardner, and David Gardner; sister, Jennifer Gillett; and the mother of his children Candice Summer Wallace.

His Cremated remains will be transferred to Alaska where the family will hold a private traditional Viking style service to celebrate his journey to Valhalla.

A public viewing & visitation for Edward will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130, followed by a funeral service with air force honors at 2:00 PM.
