Ernest “Stan” Harris, 93, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away September 14, 2019 in New Braunfels, Texas, formerly of Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Gerry, and first daughter, Connie Whitmore.
He is survived by his daughters: Kathy Harris, Cheryl Lucas, Karen Miffleton, Carol Lund. Son-in-laws: James Lucas, Charles Miffleton, Matt Lund, John Whitmore. Grandchildren: Jessica Lucas, Margaret Whitmore, Meghan Lund, Charlie Miffleton, Emma Lund, Joe Miffleton.
Known for his perseverance, quiet humble demeanor, creative talents and attention to details, it is his devotion and love for family that will be treasured always.
A private family graveside service and interment will take place on September 20, 2019 at the Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
