Ismael M. Ulloa

Mike was born to Luis and Juanita Ulloa Sr. in Luling, TX, April 1, 1927. He served in the US Army during the 1940’s and was a long time resident of New Braunfels, TX.

Mike was one of the earliest Hispanic businessmen who owned and operated “Ulloa Cleaners” on Spur St. New Braunfels, Texas. He was a member of the American Legion. He also counseled and monitored youth as a residential advisor at Gary Job Corps, San Marcos, Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Josephine Ulloa; children Maria A. Hernandez and husband Roy, Dora U. Luna and husband Ramon, Mike Ulloa, Jeanie U. Martinez, Larry Ulloa and wife Linda, Sarah U. Perez and husband Ramon, Roxann U. McCombs and husband Ike, twenty one grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Visitation begins on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 8 am and continues until 9 pm with the family present to receive visitors from 5 pm until 7 pm at Zoeller Funeral Home. There will be a pray service Tuesday evening at 7 pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 12 noon at Zoeller Funeral Home with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
