I haven’t spoken to the family in years , but I have a memory of my mom taking care of the boys one day , I’m not sure it was all of them I was young so I can’t really remember. I knew Zachary more , but this was the day I met Jacob . My uncle usually took care of Zach mostly that I knew of but so did my mom . On this particular day my uncle had dropped the boys off at our house .My mom was reading some mystery book and we all thought we were to old to be sitting there while my mom read to us . Jacob though just smiled , made us laugh and we ended up enjoying being read to . This day was so long ago but he made such an impression that even years later when the guerra family probably doesn’t remember us, I still remember him and his patterned shirt smiling I remember thing what a beautiful soul . Thank you for making that day a little more enjoyable. May you Rest In Peace

My dearest nephew Jacob,
Never did I imagine I would have to be writing this, I am still in disbelief.    I still hear your voice in my ears telling me, " I love you Aunt Myra", from the last time we saw each other for your Grandma Minnie's funeral.   
Your smile lit up the room, your sense of humor, the love you shared...all of it, is captured and engraved in our hearts forever.  The only peace I have is knowing that you are in our Lord's paradise, with all that have gone before you, especially your Grandpa Nacho and Grandma Minnie who so much loved and adored you.   I know they now have you in their embrace and in God's Glory.  
I remember the car ride with your brother's in your Tio Mike's convertible, the stories that your Grandma would share with me and her calling you, "knuckle head".   The flips and back flips into our pool that would make me so nervous!!  But, that was you, daring, full of courage, happiness, and a love and zest for life and everything in it.   The stories your Grandpa would share with so much love in his eyes...You brought so much joy and that joy will continue in the memories you left with us.   
Thank you and as your Grandpa Nacho used to say, "this isn't a goodbye, this is a see you later."    
Jacob, you are now our beautiful angel, be with us, send us your love from above and until we meet again, and we will meet again... know that I love you, we all love you, forever is not long enough.

I was saddened to hear of Jacob's passing. My condolences to his family and friends. 

We are so saddened by your incredible loss. The day we met you was when you showed us a family picture of all the boys. I think that was around nine years ago. Since then we have followed along in each of their paths getting to know them through you. In reading some of the memories it is clear that we missed out in not getting to know Jacob better. We think about you and the family every day and are sending our prayers. May you find some comfort and peace in knowing that your many friends and family are always here for you.

Though we were not as close as I had wished we could have been, I am grateful for the time I was given to spend with Jacob. Growing up, he was someone I looked up to and was always excited to see when given the opportunity. Recently I recalled the many memories we shared and all the laughter and joy he brought everywhere he went. Even when we did not see each other, I would hear the stories he or my uncle would tell my grandmother about his life. My most special memory with Jacob, and one I will always remember, is the time he told me that no matter what, I could always trust him with anything going on in my life. I will never forget the time I spent with him and hope that one day I will get to see him again. 

I send my love and condolences to my Uncle Omar, Aunt Brenda & Anne, as well as my cousins Omar, Zachary, Alex, Andrew, Nicholas, Logan, and Jake. 


We are truly saddened to have heard this news of Jacob’s passing, our hearts go out to all Jacob’s family, friends and especially Anne who has been such a tremendous Mom.

Jacob was my cousin, and despite the time and distance between me and his brothers, I loved and cared for him very much. Although I may not have had the privilege of growing up closely with him, every moment I had with him and the rest of my family was unforgettable. One moment in particular, he did a backflip to impress me and my other cousins- and yes, it worked! On another occasion, he climbed our cousin, Antonio's bunkbed latter and scraped at the popcorn ceiling to "make it snow". These memories might seem minor in comparison to others who might have had more meaningful ones, but I will always remember Jacob as the cousin who would risk getting in trouble with our Uncle Omar, for the sake of making everyone laugh. His vibrant, full-of-life personality will never be forgotten.

Now, I know he is somewhere in Heaven doing backflips and "making it snow" for other angels that are joined with him. 

My deepest condolences to my Uncle Omar, Aunt Brenda & Anne, and my cousins: Omar, Zachary, Alex, Andrew, Nicholas, Logan, and Jake. I love you all.

Jacob’s charm and smile could light up any room.    We will always remember him for his happy-go-lucky personality and his ability to find fun in anything.  We are honored to have been apart of his life and are thankful for the many wonderful memories.   As Avery’s first love, he has always held a special place in our hearts.

To the entire Guerra Family,  I extend my heartfelt condolences to each of you.  To my dear friend, Anne and to each of Jacob's brothers, I am truly so sorry for your loss and knowing how close you each are, I know that you are strong and will get through this together. Omar so truly sorry for your son's death  may he RIP. Condolences to his brothers and Brenda  you are all a very special family to me and my family  you will all be in my prayers in this hard time.  I know that no words can comfort you all right now but we are here if we can help in anyway.

Jacob was one of the most amazing people i’ve ever met, his laughter would fill the room and just bring a bit of sunshine into everyone’s lives. I remember all of the times he would have me laughing so hard my stomach would cramp. one of my favorite memories with him is when he swallowed a cherry whole, and tristens brother bebo had to give him the heimlich because he couldn’t swallow it. we all told him not to but as you know if you told jacob not to do something he would want to do it even more just to make everyone laugh. he was a beautiful soul that will greatly be missed by everyone. 

Jacob was so loved by his friends, family, and I.  He was always so happy and positive and always had the highest standards.  He also always got his way lol, but nobody will ever replace this beautiful man... Nobody.  I love you, angel, say hi to my daddy for me, I know he's been waiting to meet you.  Leave me my little signs, and show me you're here.. Wait for me, my love.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jacobs family and friends at this time. We are saddened by this news. Jacob was one of the sweetest, well mannered and respectful young men to come into our home. He was such a good friend to our son, Evan and I don’t know if Jacob even realized how special he was to our family. 

We pray for comfort and peace to everyone mourning his loss and that you all feel his spirit as he carries you forward each day.
