Funeral arrangements are complete at Zoeller Funeral Home for John W. Thompson of New Braunfels. He passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012 in San Antonio at the age of 82. He was born November 6, 1929 to James Houston Thompson and Velma Mae (Baird) Thompson in San Antonio Texas. He retired from Southwestern Bell and AT&T after a long career with them. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Geraldine Thompson; twin brother, James H. Thompson; son Terry W. Thompson and his wife Andi; daughter Sandra Faught and her husband Ron; grandchildren, Chad Epp, Amy Mucha, Donna Kurtz, Amanda Thompson; great grandchildren, Kalyn Kurtz, Kolby Kurtz and Addison Mucha. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00 am at Zoeller Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio.
