on April 26, 1935 in Edna, Texas to William Dodds and Lela (Gregory) Dodds. She attended public school
in Edna, Texas. She married her first husband, Bobby Joe Clifton at age 17 and became a housewife and
mother thereafter. The couple had two children, Danny Joe and Connie Jean. She was widowed from Joe
in 1985. Laura fell in love again several years later and married her second husband, Charles Hasenkamp, in 1987. Unfortunately, Charles passed away a few years later. During her life she was involved in community activities like bowling and Red Hats. She volunteered at the thrift store for the Senior Citizens Center in New Braunfels, had a passion for all types of gardening and loved working in her yard. Her other joy in life was shopping the garage sales. She was a very caring and generous person. her family meant the world to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, two loving husbands, and 5 siblings. Laura is survived by her two children and their spouses, Dorothy Clifton and Jack Williamson, two grandchildren: Sabrina Clifton-Morgan and Dru Clifton and their spouses Chad Morgan and Becky. She has two great grandchildren: Casey and Ben Clifton. She was very close to a loving niece Carol Tilotta and her son Jamie Duncan and his wife Patty. All who knew and loved Laura will miss her greatly. Memorial
contributions may be given to charity of one's choice. The family would like to give special thanks to the
caregivers at Oak Tree Assisted Living for years of love and support and to Altus Hospice at the end of life. A celebration of life service for Laura is scheduled for Thursday June 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St., New Braunfels, Texas.
