Manuel Henriquez, 84, of New Braunfels, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital New Braunfels. He was born to Jose Angel Mejia and Julia Henriquez in Santa Cruz Michapa, El Salvador.
He is survived by his daughters, Carmen Mejia, Estebana M. Granados, Maria E. Henriquez, Maria F. Rodriquez, Natividad M. Vasquez; sons, Luciano Henriquez, Jose G. Henriquez, Jose T. Henriquez, and Camilo Henrquez; 34 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Socorro Henriquez.
Public visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Wednesday at Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue 8 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home and continue until 9:30 a.m. when the service departs in procession to the church. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Reverend Ignatius Himawan, MSF – Celebrant. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
