Margorie Dawn Johnson Bridges has passed away at the young age of 88. She is preceded in death by both parents and the love of her life & father of her children, James Johnson. She is also preceded by her second husband, James (Buddy) Bridges. Our mother loved people and loved having a good time, whether it was a glass of “blue bottle” wine with friends or singing in the Son Shine Choir at Church or volunteering at the thrift shops. She believed in God and lived her life as a Christian. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by her three children, Scott and wife Yvonna; David; and Jamie and husband James. She is also survived and was so proud of her four grandsons – whom she cherished, they are Kyle, Parker, Zachery and Dylan; also two nieces and four nephews. The family would like to Thank Eden Hills, especially “Unit 6” for their exceptional care of our mother till the end. And also to CIMA Hospice for their wonderful service too.
A Graveside Service will be held 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to CIMA Hospice or to a charity of one’s choice.
