Mary C. McGee

Mary McGee, 74, of New Braunfels, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital New Braunfels. She was born to Gregor Hildebrand and Maria (Neugebauer) Hildebrand in Spring Branch, Texas on April 4, 1941.

Mary retired from the WestPoint Pepperell Textile Mill where she worked many years in the Weaving Department. After a short retirement she started work at McKenna Memorial Hospital working in food service.

She is survived by her children; son, David McGee and wife Erica of Charlotte, NC; son, Johnny A. McGee and wife Mi of Katy, TX; and daughter, Yvonne L. McGee of New Braunfels, TX; grandchildren, Tara Moller, David E. McGee and wife Maribel, Patrick McGee, Daniel McGee, Ian McGee and Cassie McGee; great-grandchildren, Brianna Ryan and David H. McGee; brothers, Reinold Hildebrand and wife Irene and Hilmar Hildebrand and wife Catherine; sisters, Helen Voigt and husband Melvin and Elizabeth Wriston; numerous nieces and nephews.

Public Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Wednesday at Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary & Vigil Service to held at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Zoeller Funeral Home with Reverend Beck Knox officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Honey Creek. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or to Hope Hospice of New Braunfels.
