
Mickey Dellerman passed away peacefully on April 18th, 2026 in Boerne, Texas. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Veronica Shedrock Dellerman, his daughter Linda Dellerman Morgan, his son Douglas Wayne Gregory(Joyce), and stepdaughter Arlene Geraci Sylvestor (Tom). He is survived by his brother Stephen E. Prosser, daughter Sharon Dellerman Palowski(Frank), stepdaughter Alice Geraci McKee, and stepson Paul Geraci(Pam). Also, Grampa Mickey was grandfather to eight, great-grandfather to seven, and great-great-grandfather to one.
Mickey grew up in San Antonio, Texas, then joined the United States Navy as a teenager. He served on a hospital ship during World War 2, the U.S.S. Pickney, as a corp medic. After the war he returned home to San Antonio where he was soon employed by the Southern Pacific Railroad. He also owned “Mickey’s Drive-in” hamburger stand in south San Antonio for many years. He and his wife Veronica married in 1972, and moved to New Braunfels later on to live on the Guadalupe River. Mickey so much enjoyed life on the river! He also enjoyed visiting the Starbuck’s in New Braunfels where he had met so many wonderful people. He will be missed by many.
Internment will be at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on June 5th 2026, at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice of San Antonio TX, or to the charity of your choice.
