Nancy Ellen Cotter

Nancy Ellen Cotter, age 80, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022. Nancy was born November 5, 1941 in Boston, Massachusetts to parents Charles Luckins and Margaret Doherty Luckins.

Nancy was a loving and caring daughter, mother, grandmother (also known as “Sassy”, "Grammy", "Grandma" and "Abuelita" by her grandchildren), and good friend. Throughout her career, Nancy was a draftswoman, a teacher, a real estate broker, and a landlord. She was a shy woman with a hidden sense of humor that could catch you by surprise at any moment. She had a wealth of knowledge on many topics, from home construction and remodeling to car racing, and poured her knowledge and talent into everyone and everything she did. She was one of a kind and will be greatly missed!

Nancy leaves behind her former husband, John Blake Cotter, Jr, as well as children Michael John Cotter and wife Ivette, Karen Leigh Walker, Bryan Edward Cotter and wife Claudia, and Bitsy Walza Cotter; grandchildren Megan Walker, Camila Cotter, Daniela Cotter, Zoe Cotter, Andrea Cotter, Iza Cotter, Zacgari Cotter, Michael Cotter Jr, Mia Cotter, and Zuri Cotter. Nancy also left behind her sister, Robin Walker, and many nieces and nephews from both sides of her family.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Margaret Luckins, as well as her sister Christine Magee.

A memorial service for Nancy will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130
