He is preceded in death by his parents, Schuyler Trowbridge Crowell, Donetta Ruth Saunders (Boring), step-father James R. Boring, and his sister, Donna Saunders Baldwin.
He is survived by his daughter, Amber Reffett, and three granddaughters.
He is also survived by his siblings: Cathy Crowell, Paula (John) Stakes, Suzanne (John) Finegan, Melody ( David) Evans and Jim (Gayle) Boring, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial services will be held at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery on May 26, 2026, at 11am.
