Russell Lewis Trafton

Russell L. Trafton, 70, of New Braunfels, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Northeast Methodist Hospital. He was born to Guy Trafton and Alice (Bush) Trafton in San Antonio, Texas on October 9, 1943. Russell proudly served in the United States Navy and was a Member of I.B.E.W. Local Union #40 in Los Angeles. He was member of the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed collecting coins, coaching Softball and was a true Dallas Cowboy’s Fan.

He is survived by his wife, Marion Trafton, twin daughters, Kelli Haffner and Shelli Trafton McLinn; brother, Larrylee Trafton and wife Evelyn; sister, Guynell Johnson and husband Larry; 3 grandchildren, Brandon Lane Franklin Haffner, Devon Russell Haffner, and Delaney Shaye McLinn; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Public Visitation will begin 12:00 noon Sunday at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until service time. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Zoeller Funeral Home.
