Stephanie M. Fillinger Steen

Stephanie was a kind, strong, loving women who worked along side her mom (sue) for most of her life as a nurse at a nursing home. She worked hard all of her life.

She grew up in Pittsburg TX and lived the later half of her life in New Braunfels TX with her two sons ( Brandon Davis, Joshua Davis), her daughter (Amber Davis), her grandchildren (Jace Davis, Ava Davis) and her husband (Billy Steen).

She was an amazing mom who worked so hard to provide and be there for her kids. She was independent, caring, giving, and headstrong ( her dad even gave her the nickname bulldog to resemble her resilience, force, protectiveness, and strength) She wasn't afraid of standing up for those she loved.

She meant the world to those who knew her. She was a selfless, kind friend who was always there for support.

She was the perfect grandma to her grandkids ( who knew her as BooBoo ). She was always there and loved them so much. Always trying her hardest.

She struggled with health in the latter half of her life but she never let that stand in her way. She fought through everything. Her strength was admirable.

She was truly the most amazing women. She joins her parents (Sue Lockaby, Kelvin Hunter) her brother (Jayson Hunter) and more.

She is survived by her children (Brandon, Amber, Joshua), her grandchildren (Jace, Ava) and her husband (Billy) .

She was taken too soon and will be missed by everyone who knew her. She is loved tremendously. Not a moment will go by without us thinking of her. WE LOVE YOU BOOBOO!
