Sue H. Greene

Sue Holt Greene September 3, 1950 – daughter of John Henry and Hazel Bernice Holt was born in Houston, Texas and raised Livingston, Texas. She was absent from the body and present with the Lord, February 2, 2016.

A graduate of Sam Houston State University as well as attending Texas A&M and an Aggie at heart. She was a member of the Comal County - Texas A&M University Mothers’ Club. Sue also was a long time devoted member of Concordia Lutheran Church serving with the Stephens Ministry Program, Alter Committee, and as an Usher.

Sue is preceded by her parents and step son Chris Greene. She is survived by husband Dan Greene, Brother Hank & his wife Jennifer Holt, son Brent Lowak and daughter Laura Lowak, Step son, Bob & his wife Olesia Greene, (children, Maya, Max & Ava.) Step daughter Jordan Perry, (children, Tanner, Jade and Sophia.)

Sue’s devotion to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gave her the tools to witness all of her life beyond the boundaries of standard convention. A consummate prayer warrior and never tiring servant, God used her life to bring love and light to everyone she met. Her talents for flower arranging meant no prom or wedding was not blessed with her touch. Jewelry and beadwork were a passion that served her both delight and income thru the years – many of her inner circle are adorned by her handiwork and love. All that loved her know the power of the prayers she offered everyday- the single focused determination to leave everything to the Lord.

Sue never met a stranger – when she saw a need she did not ask, she just did – doing the unspoken and instinctively providing the unasked. Sue had a true servants’ heart, giving and loving unconditionally. In her memory, please pray for someone today, hug a stranger or extend a kindness to someone undeserving. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Concordia Lutheran Church, Stephen Ministries, or to the charity of your choice in her memory.

Funeral Services at Concordia Lutheran Church, Saturday February 6th. 12pm

Internment at Hill Country Memorial Garden, Spring Branch, Texas. 3pm

Pallbearers: Dr. William Bradbury, Dr. Timothy Bradbury, Arthur Price, Mitchell Hamilton, Billy Bodin, Bobby Rigdon.
