Thomas F. Gillespie, Jr. began his final journey on March 5, 2017. He entered the U.S. Naval Radio Training School in 1942 and proudly served during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Edith, the mother of his children. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor, his daughter Andrea Perron (Preston), son Tom Gillespie (Lisa), and son Dexter Gillespie (Nancy). Extended family survivors are Eleanor’s son Gene Allen (Kate), daughter Mary Remy (Chris), and sister-in-law Cecelia League. He also shared many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge and also shared many years of service and participation with Boy Scout Troop 456. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017.
