Vernon Schultz

He was born August 31, 1927 in Marion, Texas. Preceded in death by his parents Karl (Charlie) Schultz and Eleanora (Nora) Kopplin Schultz and brother Reuben. Vernon married Vernell Pfeil on November 28, 1945 at Redeemer U.C.C. Vernon is survived by his wife Vernell of almost 70 years of marriage, sister-in-law Pauline Schultz and many cousins and friends.

His Hermann Sons Association began in Corpus Christi Lodge 34 where he served as Vice President and President for 11 years. During this period he was elected to the Grand Finance Committee in 1973 and served there for 16 years. In 1989 Vernon was elected 2nd Grand Vice President, a full-time position for 8 years. Vernon retired from Hermann Sons and settled in New Braunfels.

Public Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Sunday at Zoeller Funeral Home at will continue until 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 9, 2015 at Redeemer United Church of Christ in Zuehl, Texas with burial to in Redeemer Cemetery. Memorials may be given to: Redeemer United Church, Zuehl, TX.
