Vernon Louis Wostal

Vernon Louis Wostal went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 3, 2015 at the age of 79. He was born to Samuel and Isabell Wenske Wostal on October 1, 1935 in Orange Grove, Tx. He was married to Helen Hubertus on July 29, 1995.

Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Isabell Wostal; his son, Vernon Wostal Jr.; and his sister Shirley Ann Wostal.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Wostal; son, Joseph Wostal and friend Dawn Steel; daughter, Julie Adams and husband Kenneth; brothers, Sam Wostal of New Braunfels, Alvin Wostal and wife Lana, Lonnie Wostal and wife Lacey of Orange Grove, Tx. , William Wostal and wife Betty of Kansas; sisters, Jerlene Theis and husband Kenneth, Natalie David and husband Dorian, and Adaline Koenning and husband Jimmy; grandchildren, Joseph Wostal Jr. ,Tasha Wostal, Jennifer Adams, Aaron Adams, Evie Bowman; and one great-grandson; step-children, Michael Weber and wife Heather, Allen Weber and wife Christina, Frances Colclasure and husband Mike; eight step-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Zoeller Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 10:00am at Zoeller Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope Hospice or a charity of your choice.
