

Veronica Marie Shedrock (Geraci) Dellerman, at the age 87 is at eternal rest in her beloved heavenly garden. She is deeply mourned and missed by her beloved husband of 46 years, Mickey M. Dellerman. She peacefully went to rest on Saturday, October 27th, 2018 in Dallas, Texas with her daughter, Alice, by her side.
Veronica was born in Adkins, Texas on March 29, 1931 to Mary Dylla Shedrock and Theodore Henry Shedrock. She lived in San Antonio then moved to Louisiana. While living in Louisiana, she owned her small beauty shop. After living in Louisiana, she returned to San Antonio and then moved to New Braunfels where she enjoyed volunteering as a Blue Bird Auxiliary at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. Veronica’s passion for gardening lead her to the Acacia Garden Club where she served as president in 1976-1977 and in 1987-1987, as well as holding other officer positions in the Club. She was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed crafting, and relaxing at her home on the river in New Braunfels.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Mickey Dellerman; her daughter, Alice McKee and husband, Bill, of Dallas, Texas; her son, Paul Geraci and wife, Pam of Metairie, Louisiana; her step-daughter, Sharon Palowski and husband, Frank, of Boerne, Texas; and her step-son Douglas Gregory and wife, Joyce of Boerne, Texas. Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Theodore & Thomas Sylvester, and Kevin Paul Geraci, as well as her sisters, Helen Morris of San Antonio; Annie Baker of Houston; Florence Wigley of Dallas & Sabine Pass; her brothers, Anthony Shedrock and wife, Rose of San Antonio; and Walter Shedrock and wife, Pat of San Antonio.
Veronica was preceded in death by her son, Theodore Henry Geraci and her daughter, Arleen Karen (Geraci) Sylvester; her parents Theodore & Mary (Dylla) Shedrock; sisters Idal Shedrock and Irene Story Friedrich, as well as her first husband, Joseph H. Geraci.
She took in all the wonders of life, wrapped them in a colorful package and gave it to us selflessly; her smiles were infectious, and her love abounded. She will be greatly missed by all of her family.
A private interment will be held at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery on November 16th.
