Alina Abrams Grabowski

Alina (Abrams) Grabowski, 80, of New Britain, died on Sunday, October 31, 2010 with her beloved family by her side. She was born in Poland, has lived in New Britain since 1964 and was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and her greatest joy was being with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Aleksander Grabowski; two daughters and a son with their spouses, Barbara Eshoo and her husband, Peter, Zdzislaw Grabowski and his wife, Krystyna, all of New Britain, Yolanda Martinchek and her husband, Raymond, of Ellington. She also leaves five beloved grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Anna Grabowski, Thomas Grabowski and his wife, Ania, Irene Morrison and her husband, Tarik, Michael Eshoo and his wife, Jessica, and Alex J. Addario; and four great-grandchildren, Alex, Maja, Addison and Aiden.

Funeral Services will begin Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 8:30am at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by the funeral liturgy at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Walnut Hill Care Center for all the great care and support they gave Alina during her time of illness.

Friends and family are invited to pay their last respect on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Please feel free to leave a tributes or condolence.
