Anna M Petrucelli

Anna M. (Galati) Petrucelli, 103, widow of John Petrucelli since 1978, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 at Brittany Farms Healthcare with her family by her side. Anna was born in Fairfield and was the daughter to the late Michael and Mary (Kiraly) Galati. She was a long time member of the Jehovah Witness for over 60 years. A caring and devoted mother and grandmother, Anna cherished her time spent with family and her joy of cooking for them. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughters; Linda Petrucelli of Cromwell, and Ann Marie Mixon and her husband Jerry of Lakeland, FL, her brother, John Galaty and his wife Florence of Trumbull, three sisters: Antoinette Caggianello of Shelton, Eleanor Polena of Fairfield and Elsie Sabatino of Milford, her grandsons; Steven Chojnicki of New Britain, Jeremy Mixon of Florida and Ryan Mixon of Forestville, five great granddaughters, seven great grandsons, one great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by her brothers; Joseph Galaty, Michael Galaty, Frank Galati, sisters; Mary Panda and Josephine Romo and her granddaughter, Dena Chojnicki.

Funeral Services will begin Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 10:30am from the New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, with a Prayer Service at 11am. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
