Antoni Modzelewski, 67, beloved husband of Anna (Stomska) Modzelewski of 45 years, of Plantsville, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014. He was born April 24, 1947 in Poland and was son to the late Aleksander and Jozefa (Just) Modzelewski. He had worked in construction over 20 years and his last 10 years at Brittany Farms. He was also a parishioner of Holy Cross Church.
A loving husband and father, he will also be dearly missed by his son, Marek Modzelewski of Plainville, a sister Zofia DiLaurenzio of Lady Lake, Fl and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his three brothers; Zygmunt, Tadeusz and Witold Dabkowski.
Funeral services will begin Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 9AM at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Holy Cross Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
