

Arthur J. St. Laurent, 86, of Andover and previously of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, has joined his beloved wife, Yolanda M. (Fragione) St. Laurent, who passed away in 2000 and was also predeceased in 2006 by his son, Arthur Tim. Arthur J. St. Laurent was born in Hartford to the late Arthur W. and Rose Agnes (Burns) St. Laurent and proudly served in the pacific during WWII in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a parishioner of St. Jerome Church and a 50 year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, and also a member of the retirees club #96. His life and passion was family and carpentry, which he continued to this day. At the young age of 80, along with this sons, David and Tim, he lovingly built a home in tribute to his late wife.
A loving father and grandfather, he is survived by his son, David C. St. Laurent with whom he resided,of Andover, CT, his daughter, Yolanda L. Morico and her husband Peter of Grafton MA, and his precious granddaughters, Daniella and Amanda who were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his son, Daniel J. St. Laurent and his wife Nancy and their children, Daniel and Jaclyn St. Laurent and Monique and Toni Parisi of New Britain. He is also survived by his sisters; Doris Murkowicz and Rose Mary Attenello and her husband, Frank , all of Windsor Locks and Lois Hemmeter of Ellington and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his dear wife and son, he was predeceased by his brother Thomas St. Laurent and sisters; Shirley Covey and Betty A. St. Laurent.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 29, 2010 at 11:30am in St. Jerome Church. Burial with full military honors will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, all in New Britain. There are no calling hours. The New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
