Barbara A Wyrebkiewicz, 78, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026. She was born April 23, 1947 in Germany a daughter of the late Stanislaw and Kaziemira (Sokol) Wyrebkiewicz. Barbara taught at Colchester High School for several years and went on to work as an administrative assistant at Cigna and later retiring from Aetna.
She is survived by a brother, George Webb and his wife Patricia of Kensington, a niece Jennifer Webb, two nephews; Andrew and Joseph Strother as well as several extended family. Barbara was predeceased by a sister Irene Strother.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, March 17 from 10-11AM at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. A funeral service will be follow at 11am at the funeral home with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
The family would like to Thank all the caregivers at Autumn Lake in New Britain for the many years of love and care they provided Barbara.
