Claire J. Raynock Radziwon

She was born in Scranton, PA and has lived in New Britain for over 70 years. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Kaczmarczyk) Raynock and was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Radziwon.

Claire was a loving mother and grandmother. Retired from Fafnir Bearing Co. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, past secretary and treasurer of the Sacred Heart Ladies Guild a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, and the Lady Knights of Columbus. She actively supported the community but her greatest joy was being with her family.

She is survived by her devoted children, two sons and a daughter with their spouses, Hank and Alice Radziwon; Vincent and Arleen Radziwon, all of Southington; Diane and Edward Moriarty of Kensington.

She leaves seven beloved grandchildren who where her pride and joy, Jeffrey and Leigh Ann Radziwon; Keith, Kevin and Kenneth Radziwon, Michael and Kaitlin Moriarty.

She is also survived by a sister and two brothers, Margaret Zukowski; Edward and Richard Raynock and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters, Chester, Joseph, Walter Raynock; Anne Frystack; Stasia Forrester, Louise Theriault and Dorothy Skwiot.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 9:00 AM at the New Britain Memorial and Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain followed by the funeral liturgy at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday August 23, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home, (Directions, Exit 37 off I-84 take a right at the exit, 1 ½ miles on your right)
