Concettina Marcantonio

Concettina Marcantonio, 87, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2018 at New Britain General Hospital. Concettina was born on December 3, 1930, in Limosano, Italy, the daughter of the late Nicola and Rosaria (Iamonaco) Marcantonio. She was the beloved wife of the late Igino Marcantonio for 61 years. Concettina will be dearly missed by her family, son Nick Marcantonio and his wife Henrietta of Farmington, daughter Nancy Dinino and her husband Luciano of Berlin, son Gino Marcantonio of Southington, daughter Clelia Vanasse and her husband Rich of Goshen, and son Tony Marcantonio and his wife Elizabeth of Forestville, 14 grandchildren, Nick, Gino, Marc, Jeremy, Daniella, Gina, Daniel, Michael, Taylor, Justin, Julia, Andrew, Nicholas and Matthew, 2 great grandchildren, Jack and Owen. She is also survived by her sisters, Teresa Pulla, Giovina Colavecchia, Angelina Pulla, her sisters-in-law, Maria Marcantonio and Immacolatta Giancola,sister-in-law Giusepina all of Canada, Teresa of Italy, brothers-in-law Antonio of Canada, Alberto and his wife Maria of England, John and his wife Elena of CT. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her brothers Cesino and Igino, sisters Marietta and Antonietta.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 10AM from the New Britain Memorial -Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Ann Church, 101 North St. New Britain. Entombment will follow in the St. Mary Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Friday, Nov. 23rd from 4PM to 7PM at the funeral home.
