Dorothy J. Gifford

She was born in Collingdale to the late Richard and Marion (Williams) Bergeman. Dorothy was known for her great love of life. Her greatest enjoyment was the time she spent with her cherished family. She treasured the deep connection she shared with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dorothy was a dear friend who always listened and gave comfort to those in need. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is predeceased by her daughter Joyce Ann Voshell and by her two husbands, Walter Wormald and Earl J. Gifford.

Survivors: Dorothy is survived by her son, Robert Wormald and his wife Isabel of Kensington, Conn.; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Wormald and her fiancée Michael Zigmont; her grandsons, Christopher Wormald and his wife Amanda, Steven Voshell and his wife Wendy, Christopher Voshell and his wife Amy, Jeffery Voshell and Matthew Voshell; her son-in-law Philip Voshell; her great-grandchildren, Rachael, Sydney, Brynn, Ainsley, Zoey and Casey Voshell and many close friends.

Service: Committal services will be held 2 p.m. Jan. 15, 2011 at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Road, Drexel Hill, with prayers from Pastor Frederick Raap of Kensington, Conn.

Arrangements have been entrusted to New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at the donor's discretion.
