Edward J. Brighenti

Edward was born August 5, 1949 in New Britain, CT to John E. and Angeline (Battistone) Brighenti. He was a gentle soul who touched many people along his life’s journey. He had a real soft spot for animals—especially his brother William’s cats and his brother John’s rescue Shih Tzu Kermit. They always brought a smile to Edward’s face. Music played an important role in his life. He was an accomplished guitarist and a veritable walking encyclopedia of The Beatles.

Edward is survived by his brothers; John J. Brighenti and his wife Elizabeth of Bloomfield and his brother William F. Brighenti and his wife Carole of Berlin. He also leaves many cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place at the Church of St. Timothy on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 10:00am. (1116 North Main St., West Hartford, CT) Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s memory may be made to Holy Apostles College and Seminary, 33 Prospect Hill Rd., Cromwell, CT.: Attn. Fr. Brad Pierce or a charity of the donor's choice.
