

Frank was born in Van Buren, Maine on July 15, 1921 to Frank and Rose Hodgdon. Frank graduated from Houlton High School and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II (1942-1945). He settled and raised his family in Windsor Locks then spent his time between Port Orange, FL and East Otis, MA after retiring from a long and successful career with Grand Union Supermarkets. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, traveling, Nascar and the Boston Red Sox.
Frank was predeceased by his devoted wife Norma, eldest son Jeffrey, brother Ralph and sister Rosalind. He leaves his daughter Sandy Caron and husband Steve of Windsor Locks, son Michael Hodgdon and wife Roberta of Ellington, grandchildren Sara Sroka and husband Matt, Chris Hodgdon, Dan Hodgdon and fiancé Kristyn, Joey Caron, great-grandchildren Connor and Cadence Sroka and his beloved dog Rusty.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 19, 10:00 AM at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 52 S. Elm St., Windsor Locks. Please meet directly at church. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s cemetery, Windsor Locks. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Frank’s family would like to thank the staff at Touchpoints at Chestnut and Masonicare Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they provided. There are no words to express our gratitude.
