Giovanni Dastoli

Giovanni Dastoli, age 52 of Berlin, passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2016. Giovanni was born October 10, 1963 in Filadelfia, Provincia di Catanzaro, Italy to the late Vincenzo and Barbara (Teti) Dastoli. He was a handy man, who enjoyed taking on projects around the house, working on his car, and in the garden. He was an avid fisherman, who enjoyed taking his nephews and nieces on fishing adventures. He loved getting together with family and cherished the times. Giovanni will be most remembered for his carefree personality and will be dearly missed by, sister Laura Bonelli and her husband Dino of Cromwell; brother Foca Dastoli and his wife Rae Janise; sister Anna Caruso and her husband Frank; brother Frank Dastoli and his wife Josephine; brother Joseph Dastoli; brother Mario Dastoli and his wife Sally; and brother Vincent Dastoli and his wife Cynthia, all of Berlin, as well as all of his nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces. Giovanni was also predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Barbara Dastoli and niece Stacey Lynn Dastoli.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 11th, at 11:30 AM from St Paul Church, 461 Alling St. Kensington. Visitation will be on Monday, July 11th, from 8:30 until 10:30 AM at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain.
