

Helen was born in Johnstown, PA and has lived in New Britain for most of her life. She retired from Fafnir Bearing Co, after which she enjoyed volunteering at the Salvation Army, Senior Center and YWCA, and most especially she loved dancing.
Helen is survived by her sons Alan Plasky, Philip Plasky and his wife, Eva, Ronald Plasky and his wife, Eileen, and daughter Judith Kramer. She leaves a sister, Olga Langley and a brother Onufre Klapatch and his wife, Ellie, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, April 27th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home, Exit 37 off I-84, take a right at the exit, funeral home is 1 ½ miles on your right.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 9:00 AM at New Britain Memorial\Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM at St. Jerome Church, 1010 Slater Rd., New Britain. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
