Jadwiga Pryputniewicz

She was born in Poland and has lived in New Britain and surrounding towns for many years, moving to Florida 6 years ago.

She was the daughter of Marianna (Gwiazdowski) Sokolowski of New Britain and the late Eugene Sokolowski.

Heddy attended local schools, Sacred Heart, New Britain High and Community College.

She loved fine things, nature, dinning, happy hours with therapy group, boating being with family and friends and had a special affection for children. She was a loving and caring daughter, wife, sister and aunt and will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Roman Pryputniewicz; her sister, Christine Nadolski and her husband, Tadeusz of Farmington, her brother, Kazimierz Sokolowski and his wife, Brenda of New Britain.

She is also survived by her mother in law Janina Pryputniewicz, and three brothers in law, Ryszard, Eugene and Miro Pryputniewicz; and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She started her working career at early age at Whistle Stop, Broad Street Pizza of New Britain, Atlantic Machine Tools, Two Guys Department store in Newington, Allstate Insurance Farmington, and then R & M Automotive Inc. family owned business in Newington till she move with her husband to Stuart, Florida ware she enjoyed her orchids and beautiful sunny days to the fullest.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 8:30 AM at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain. followed by the funeral liturgy at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, Directions: I-84, take right off exit #37, 1.5 miles on right.
