Jack lived in New Britain for most of his life, living in Florida for over 20 years, before returning to New Britain. He enjoyed the outdoors and had a special affection for animals. He was an avid pool player and belonged to the APA and to the St. Jeans the Baptiste Society.
He is survived by a nephew Derek Slinchak and a niece Kayla Germer as well as an aunt, Agnes Tanguay and her husband, Raymond and several cousins and good friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 12:00 pm from the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, Burial will follow at the Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, in New Britain.
